n. Internet short-term standing for "Programmed Random Occurrence" Where which there is a triggering of a chain of events created by a pre-determined random chance coinciding with another occurrence.

n. inf. For usage outside and untethered from the internet, it may instead stand for "Predetermined Random Occurence"

v. To trigger, activate, or occur semi-randomly

note: There are many other explanations for what proc stands for, but Programmed Random occurrence is and has always been the genesis of the term.
