zoomdoggle

A play on boondoggle... Zoom or any video meeting that is wasteful or pointless but gives the appearance of having value.
Today was a total Zoomdoggle. I've been in video conferences all day long and I'm now dumber than I was before. In other words, I am Zoomdoggled from Zoomdoggling all day.

The Etymology: The etymological term is inspired by the Covid-19 pandemic and was first found in use on July 21st, 2021.

2. to rob or attempt to deceive the public: to boomdoggle home buyers into buying "over their budget" by offering low interest rates and no money down.
Can throwing large amounts of federal money at public works projects jump-start our economy and lead to prosperity or only result in an expensive and wasteful boomdoggle.
