Zoomakes are remakes that were specifically designed to appeal to the new generation by modifying the story or gameplay in order to appeal to the modern audience.

A typical zoomake would be Resident Evil 4 Remake. Changing Ada's voice actor for the worse to match her ethnicity or removing entire sections of the game because they were too long or hard for a modern audience is one example of game developers trying to make a zoomake to appeal to the new generation of gamers.
