tribalography

A space where the stories of Native Americans have helped to influence the creation of what the Americas have grown to today. This is not a place with boundaries that can be seen or even crossed, but an infinitesimal space where the stories of a culture pushed to the sides has flourished.
"It is the eloquent act of unification that explains how America was created from a story. Native people created narratives that were histories and stories with the power to transform. I call this rhetorical space 'tribalography'." -- LeAnne Howe
