a solo or communal activity whereby a hardcore sunbather forgoes the comfort of a sunlounger or towel and stands in a zombie like trance to achieve the best possible tan. usually with legs apart, hands on hips or reading a book. to achieve the stantanning status 8 hours or more is required.

Stantondinger

When someone tells you to f off so you dig a hole and put them in there along with a couple crocodiles and then watch as they get eaten and you shout the f word at them the whole time.
