Sports Fan

When a guy stands on the dance floor awkwardly and doesn't dance. The Sports Fan is a fan of the game, but he doesn't want to play.
Friend 1- "What's up with this dude? He stepped on to the dance floor but he's just watching us like a babysitter."

A sports fan is someone that is a fan of all sports.

Someone who watches sportsball. Typically they have an obsession with a team but alternatively they can have an obsession with a player or even players. Players of whom sports fans will dedicate their whole lives to knowing every detail of what they had for breakfast and the last person they had sex with. Examples of sports fans include MJ Stans, Bronsexuals, Bradytards, and #1 fans of 2020s 20th Overall Pick Bench McRiderson. Typically sports fans know nothing and commit acts such as “meat riding” and “casual racism.”
My sons a real sports fan! I hope he grows up to be a knowledgeable reporter like Stephen A Smith or Colin Cowherd!

A term used to describe someone, usually someone younger, who thinks they know something but their understanding is very basic or wrong.
Example 1
Son- Being a doctor is easy. You don’t need a degree just google what’s wrong with them and write a prescription.

Father- Hold on there sports fan. It’s a little bit more complicated than that.

Friend 1 - Man,,, That old MF tryin to tell me how to box. He don’t know shit switch his old ass.
