It's like chillin, but more extreme. Derives from the noun "rug" and describes the act of laying around a house, pad, and/or crib, draped over couches and sprawled out on the floor - like a rug.

The phrase “FaZe rugging it” was a popular phrase another YouTuber that goes by JiDion used in his videos to emphasize he doesn’t skit and fake his videos like the YouTuber FaZe Rug has done in his videos.
