Before we left for the market, I stuck a granola bar as a pocket snack to keep my wife from stabbing me when her blood sugar crashes.

Pocket Snacks 

A multipurpose snack kept in ones pocket for not only emergency purposes, but for hungover mornings, when you’re high and on the go, and after work shifts when you’re at the bar and they’ve already closed the flat top down.

Pauly: “yo Dom you got any pocket snacks on you?”

Dom: “yeah I got some over in my jacket on the bar”

(Both Pauly and Dom look over at the bar to see someone checking his pockets)

Dom: “HEY! DONT TOUCH MY POCKET SANDWHICH!”

Sacked in the Pocket

Football QB metaphor applied to dating meaning to get told by someone that they just want to be friends or don't like you back, before you can make a move or ask them out.

In football, when a QB gets tackled before he can leave the pocket created by his linemen, it's called getting sacked in the pocket.

Me: Yo man did you ask that chick from your class out yet ?
Tom: Nah, man I got sacked in the pocket.
