ping-pom

The somewhat common phenomenon where Brits (or "poms") bounce back and forth from living in Australia to the UK (may be repeated many times). Possibly caused by the perception that the grass is always greener on the other side.

I spent most of my 20s and 30s ping-pomming as I couldn't make my mind up where to live.

A unit of measurement, specifically the diameter of one ping pong ball, used especially during beer pong.

That shot was less than one ping-pometer away!
