Pedestalstilled (verb)
When someone is praised, admired, or focused on so
intensely that they begin to feel
uncomfortable, exposed by
attention — especially when they never sought the spotlight.
Example:
“When everyone
in the room kept asking her to sing another song (as she is not just a beautiful singer but because they
objectified her) she started to feel pedestalstilled — admired, but not wanting to and felt
uncomfortable and very exposed.”
