June 1967: The Israeli military under massive unprovoked attack from Arab armies intent on destroying the State of Israel, defended itself against, Syrian, Jordanian and Egyptian armies on the West Bank of the River Jordan and East Jerusalem (belonging then to Jordan)and Gaza (belonging then to the Egyptians). This region was an area sparsely populated by nomadic tribes, some Arabs and some Jews since the destruction of the area the Romans called Philistina.
The Israelis won the areas now known as the "occupied territories," in the 6 day war of 1967. Any territory won by a country in war in which they were not the aggressor is legitimate to occupy.
In terms of occupation, Israel on the whole does not wish to unduly disadvantage the inhabitants of the territories but in the face of those who would wish to see the destruction of the State of Israel and the Jewish people residing within it, has had to defend itself against elements who would seek to do just that.
If the inhabitants had not fled their homes in the war of Israeli independence 1947 - 1949 following the UN resolution giving both Jews and Arabs in the British Mandate of Palestine a State and Self-Determination for both parties, maybe Jews and Arabs could have lived at peace here for the last 57 years.

The Japanese Occupation of Snowland is a lesser known period of imperial history, but with equally as devastating short-term and long-term impacts. The indigenous citizens of Snowland, usually peaceful, were forced to submit to the strength of the Japanese military. Throughout the occupation, citizens were taxed unrealistically, beaten, and in many cases, removed from their homes altogether. Several rebellion movements occurred by local militias throughout the period, but none were successful. At the end of the occupation, Snowland was set back centuries in terms of innovation and progress, and is still considered a heavily undeveloped region in today’s world.

Israeli Occupation of PALESTINE is an often repeated political falsehood intended to mis-inform those ignorant of the history of the Arab-Israeli Conflict.
It is a legal mistake and misnomer to use the phrase ,"Israeli Occupation of PALESTINE", as it does not accurately reflect the legal or political situation. Use of the phrase,"Israeli Occupation of PALESTINE" makes a person sound ignorant and bigoted.

An audible grunt, cough, or clearing of the throat issued by an individual while using a stall in a public men's restroom, especially when they hear someone else entering. This is done to advise the incoming patron that the stall is occupied, helping them avoid any awkward attempts to open the door or worse, peer through the crack in the door. A grunt is best because this bypasses any dialogue or conversation- both of which are widely regarded as taboo in a public men's room.

An Individual who has to date someone who makes a certain amount of money to make up for their own financial irresponsibility & compulsory spending habits.
These individuals are different than the classic gold digger because they often work hard and make enough to support more than one person yet they have to borrow money constantly and or date people who make a certain amount of money to make it because they can't manage their own money properly whether in a relationship or not.
As an excuse to keep spending irresponsibly these Individuals often choose to date co-dependent enablers who will enable them to keep spending like they do, then will blame it on the other person as if they're the issue when it's both parties at fault. In some cases they will even stay with abusive people if there's enough money involved, which proves they're mentally unfit to be in a relationship with anyone.
These individuals constantly claim to want true love and a man/woman who treats them right, but they can experience exactly that and will throw it all away due their overwhelming love for money & material possessions if the person who loves them doesn't make enough money.
