The Japanese Occupation of Snowland

The Japanese Occupation of Snowland is a lesser known period of imperial history, but with equally as devastating short-term and long-term impacts. The indigenous citizens of Snowland, usually peaceful, were forced to submit to the strength of the Japanese military. Throughout the occupation, citizens were taxed unrealistically, beaten, and in many cases, removed from their homes altogether. Several rebellion movements occurred by local militias throughout the period, but none were successful. At the end of the occupation, Snowland was set back centuries in terms of innovation and progress, and is still considered a heavily undeveloped region in today’s world.

Snowlane

An occurrence in cities that get snow where roads that may have once been nicely divided into 3 lanes turn into two very distinct lanes due to the tracks which are repeatedly driven in. Such snowlanes adhere to no actual laws, rhyme or reason but merely the easiest and most common paths to drive. At any given time you may find that the snowlane you are driving in appears to be directly in the middle of two lanes and the dividing line is right in the middle of your lane. This is acceptable and there's really nothing you can do until the snow plows clear it, or if its forged in ice, the spring comes.

"What the fuck, the white line is right in the middle of this snowlane"
"Ya in the spring there's actually three lanes on this road but I guess it got turned into two snowlanes"

Proper shit town, full of druggos , crackheads, and little chavs, if you live on saltings road you are definitely living on benefits and live off beans and bread, The cricket meadow is where all the alcoholics and little wannabe roadmen hang out. snowbandit

In the case of a blizzard/whiteout, there are those, most often of younger age, that will immediately gear up and set out into the snow-coated streets with one objective in mind; dominate with snow. These are snowbandits, one with the white, clandestine in their operations, and always armed with a variety of different caliber snowballs to suit any given situation. Often moves in groups of two or more, though the occasional lone wolf may be encountered. Be cautious of their cleverness in tactics, the snowbandits are not to be underestimated.

"What the hell happened to you?"

"I was on my way home from the grocery store, and I got ambushed guerrilla-style by a group of snowbandits. They plastered me with slushballs, a brutal choice. I only barely managed to escape."

so, i live here and can easily say you cant walk around at night without thinking someone around the corner is about to try stab you with a makeshift knife made of broken vape pods. cricket meadow is the crack spot and i got offered weed there. nobody in the town has lungs to sustain themself above 27
