An euphemism for progressive audience in entertainment. Usually used when talking about Hollywood or West game development.

Did you see the new Saints Row reboot? The devs said it caters to modern sensibilities and will appeal to a modern audience hence neutering everything the series stood for. What an awesome idea!

"Fans" who play games they're supposedly a fan of on YouTube through walkthrough videos, and not their console or PC, aka larpers.

Larper: "Video Games are meant to be played" Yeah tell that to the poor and disabled buddy
Fan: Wow, we found the mythical modern audience
