That overwhelming feeling u get when you are hit wit such emotion, that u almost want to cry, but cant seem to get anything out because of a lump in your throat,

"Because his wife left him after four years, he woke up from his dreams, full of so much sadness, yet, he was unable to cry cause of this lump in the throat."
