I want to be alone

When someone says this they don’t actually want to be alone, they want someone to be there for them and show the love and attention they deserves. Some people mistake this with a phrase that is for attention and manipulation.

Emma: I want to be alone
Jody: I’m not going to leave you alone, I’m going to be here for you
