get quiet:is hood talk: to become silent or to ignore someone

To get quiet means to not respond to a person. It could be an internal conflict.
comes from different hoods but in general used by people in the yay area(oakland, sf) or from people up in NYC.
It's a phrase that will gain popularity because a latino like me took the time on a saturday at 1am to write this definition.
If this phrase becomes popular I want credit.
