hellatus 

coined from the terms "hell" and "hiatus". this term is mainly used by the Supernatural fandom.

this is the horrible period when the show is not airing on tv. primarily occuring during season breaks, hellatus can also be experienced during winter breaks and now more recently in season 6 when the CW network opted to air re-runs or preempt the show for seriously stupid reasons.
fangirl1: WTF? supernatural will not be airing this friday because the CW opted to replay some other poorly rating show?

fangirl2: i don't know how i'm going to survive this hellatus anymore! damn you CW!?!
