"What do you mean?"

"I didn’t find its taste bitter and disgusting enough to cause me to add more sugar from the office in order to make it palatable for me."

I don't HAVE to do it but clearly I am
Hym "Nah, you're clearly being a piss pants. I HAVE to toot my own horn but you can't deny the brilliance of someome who has revolutionized multiple industries. You want to sit over there and childishly withhold the benefits but, really, what's the point? I also got a dozen good shows out of it. The only part of this that isn't working is the 'convincing you that you're being a shit' part. But it's ok. I know you're like 8 years behind so I know that your shit brains will eventually catch up to my genius brains."
HAVE to by Hym Iam May 20, 2023
No I do have to.
Hym "I am not going to spend the next 40 years laboring. My contribution has generated enough to buy myself out of the work force. If I am not allowed to do that... Then I HAVE TO murder someone's kid. HAVE TO. What is happening to me is nothing more than the desire of solipsistic men and breeders to FEEL LIKE they are in control of the incel problem. If they are not forced to release me and punished for doing this... Someone's kid is going to HAVE TO die. I wish that weren't the case and you don't actually have to understand why it is the case and I don't care if you don't believe me."
Have to by Hym Iam December 28, 2024
Well, no.
Hym "You don't HAVE to. You want to. And you only WANT TO because you think I won't get the upper hand (not that I don't) or that I don't have the upper hand OR the once you finally FEEL as though I have the upper hand you will be able to grovel and cry your way out of the situation. So you're not sorry. You already know how I feel about 'sorry' as a concept. I mean, you've gotten me to a point where I'm almost bored of threatening you. It bores me. It's actually getting kind of sad. I don't want to HAVE TO show you that what you HAVE TO do is what I want you to do. I just want to relax."

Have to see a man about a horse

From old spagetthi westerns, where one would "see a man about a horse" when his needs for urinating became to high.
"Can we stop joe, I have to see a man about a horse".

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty

A meme about rick and morty where people post this in reply of those criticisms of the show.
To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer’s head. There’s also Rick’s nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they’re not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Rick & Morty truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn’t appreciate, for instance, the humour in Rick’s existential catchphrase “Wubba Lubba Dub Dub,” which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev’s Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I’m smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Dan Harmon’s genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools.. how I pity them. 😂

And yes, by the way, i DO have a Rick & Morty tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It’s for the ladies’ eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they’re within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid 😎

I have to return some video tapes

A statement made when you need to quickly get out of a situation or leave the conversation or a room. A great excuse for tardiness or and absence.

Also an euphemism for going number 2.

A line used many times by Patrick Bateman in the book "American Physco." written by Bret Easton Ellis
"Where you going, dude? We got another round of beers coming?"

"I have to return some video tapes."

----
"Those fish tacos tore me up. Umm, I have to return some video tapes."

murderhobo

In a tabletop game, a murderhobo is a player who murders NPCs indiscriminately. This is normally derogatory, referring to a player who totally ignores quests, dialog, backstory, trade, world building etc.

The term is most common with Dungeons and Dragons, but it can be applied to most RPGs where the player is allowed to kill most quest-giving NPCs and NPC traders. E.g. Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Divinity original sin.
DM: The sad little orphan girl tugs at Steve's trenchcoat to get his attention, and ask for help saving her pet dog from...
Steve: I'd like to roll a strength check against strangling the orphan.
Dave: I call dibs on the dog.
DM: You murderhobos disgust me.

In sales terms, a whale is a prospect that is significantly larger than an organization’s average customer.

Whales are large and extremely difficult to close. Due to their immense size, they are highly sought-after.

A whale is typically identified at first by a whale hunter on the sales team, but often requires cross-discipline participation in order to close; this includes assistance from operations, engineering, creative, client success, and business development teams.
"Shit...the sales director chewed me out on the sales call this morning. He's totally pissed that I have nothing in my pipeline. I've been focused on this one whale for so long that I haven't had time to prospect for normal-sized deals."
