guestastrophe

A catastrophe, usually at a party or similar gathering, caused by or involving someone who was not directly invited. For example, they may have come as someone else's guest (a plus one) or gatecrashed the event.

I didn't even know Ned was coming to my place, but it ended up being a massive guestastrophe
