"Finit" means "end" in French...generally short in duration, their end is in sight. Like the atom-thin form of carbon called graphene, a grafinit’s undeniable strength allows it to be built upon; yet like graffiti, it is impromptu and fleeting.
That grafinit was a solo piano piece of just 4 measures, but it filled me with emotion in a way that many longer sad songs could not.
