A person that reads (usally classic literature) to seem smart, but doesnt enjoy it.

Gothic Whore 

1. Someone that reads gothic or classic literature, just for the sake of saying they read gothic or classic literature

2. A person that doesnt listen to goth music, but dresses in all black and calls themselves goth for the attention of (usually) straight white boys.

1. "frankenstine? do you ever plan to read it?"

"no, im a bit of a gothic whore. i only like them for the aesthetic."
2. "she only listens to deaftones, but she calls herself goth. what a gothic whore."
