go camping

1. Intr. V. To communicate to someone else their inablity to identify their sexual orientation; To insinuate that one is questioning their sexuality

2. Intr. V. To begin to question one's sexuality; To consider oneself bi-sexual, when one is really trying to justify if they are more gay or more straight (knowing that bi-sexuality in it's truest form is equal or close to equal attraction to both genders.)

Possible Origin: Movie, "Camp".

Usage: Insinuation of someone else.
1. The students in the classroom suspect that their teacher is gay but is either in the closet or does not want to admit to him/herself that they are gay. The students ask the teacher, "Mr. C, do you want to go camping with us?" Meaning, the students want the teacher to feel comfortable with who they are, be at ease to state whether they are gay, bi, or straight, and talk about the challenges they are going through.

2. "...you know she's gay." "Nah, she's just going camping."

3. What's goin' on wit me, I gotta be goin' camping.

i go camping in secret

I go camping in secret is from the television show "How I met your mother" after Ted tells Robin that he loves her, he leaves and let's her think about if she loves him back. When he wakes up he thinks of what he'll say to Robin and decides to tell her to forget he ever said it. When he exits his room he panics and yells "I go camping in secret!" Which was an allusion to temporary Lyme disease.
George: "I love you!"
Sally: "About what you're saying..."
George:"I go camping in secret!"

lets go camping

I used to love to go camping

A very sophisticated way of showing disinterest towards someone confiding something personal to you, and a deliberately poor attempt at relating, by being vague about similarities you can't or won't get into.

It's a direct quote from the character Walter White from Breaking Bad:

Hank has a drink with Walt and goes on a monologue about his old job of tagging trees to be cut down.

Hank says, “Tagging trees is a lot better than chasing monsters”. After a long pause Walt replies, “I used to love to go camping”.

Should only be used on e.g toxic people who traumadump on you, or people who've seen Breaking Bad way too much and will partly be in on the "joke".
Annoying person: So long story short, he kept cheating on me for 5 more years, and after all this mess I'm completely through with dating.

You: Yeah, I used to love to go camping.

Utility beer

Utility beer is the beer you keep around for the day-to-day moments when beer is a necessity to assist in pedestrian activities (golf, plumbing, yardwork, babysitting, staff meetings, Zoom calls). For the beer snob it is the beer you save for neighbors when they drop in at 3 p.m. on a Tuesday. It is differentiated from the actual high-end beer you save for special events, holidays, and special tastings.
Person 1: Dave, did you bring along those hazy craft IPA's so we could drink while cleaning Lyle's pool?
Person 2: Nope. I just have a bunch of utility beer that Steve dumped on me. Good enough for this. It is only 10:30 a.m.
