Game Master

"Game master," "gamemaster," or simply "GM" is a title for the officials in an online RPG (role-playing game) which refers to those in power in a game whom do any of the following: devise rules and regulations for the game and design how the gameplay will be (developer), enforce those rules and regulations (moderator), or had a hand in developing the game's scripts itself (coder).

Not to be confused with "Master Gamer," who is simply a player who has mastered the game (a person that is extremely good at the game that has had no hand in the workings of the game).
"Be careful using your hacks right now dude, there's a Game Master in the lobby! Don't want to get banned."

"Damn GM, I was having a good time wrecking these noobs with Huzuni."

the Master Game

A historically based reference to the true sources of power beneath appearances, that is, who is really in charge and pulling all the strings.
Although the Grabber in Chief was elected as the 45th President of the United States, this seemingly unpredictable phenomenon is a reflection of the Master Game at work.

Gamesmaster

THE best Computer Games show ever devised, by Channel 4, 1991 to 1998...

A few of the notable reasons for the success of this show are the following:

1. Dominik Diamond - a laughably humorous presenter, with quickfire remarks and inuendo's which ALWAYS brought a laugh on an episode by episode basis...Dexter Flecther took over for a season, and proved without the Diamond, you'll only show the ruff...

2. Patrick Moore - the Games Master, who was perfectly chosen for the eccentric co-presenter, which GamesGuru (among other crappy rip off shows) haven't even come CLOSE to competing with...

3. The sets - ALL of the sets were cleverly devised and picked, and changed with each series to give a sense of progression along with the games...the lighting, smoke effects and general props for the earlier installments of the series all helped to make the show a classic...the 'oil rig' notably the best...

4. The games - by nowadays standards games during that period are deemed obselete, but Mario, Doom, Street Fighter 2, Daytona USA, to name a few have ALL paved the way for the general template use for the games of today. Much like 60's music making the template for all music thereafter...

5. Dave Perry AKA Barry Bandanna - a fellow presenter, who worked with a popular games magazine at the time...also funny, laughable and lighthearted - his commentry also gave us all the occasional laugh...
Dominik: "thankyou Gamesmaster..."

Dominik: "so, Zoe (ball), do you ride on a lot of motorbikes to prepare you for the up coming challenge"

Zoe: "Not Really, but I do like it in the back"

Dominink: "nuff said"
