A Scottish slang word, compound of the slang words fanny (female vagina) and nuts (balls/testicles).

1. A slang word for female genitalia.
2. A soft insult which can be used in many different situations.
The insult can be used instead of cunt to lessen the impact of the insult, and can sometimes be used in an affectionate manner. i.e.

Haw, arthur ya fannynuts, whit are you daein'?
See when ah see that wee fannynuts, ahm gonnae buy him a beer.
