A figment created by an emotionally decapitated person in hopes for acceptance from those around them or the thing they have turned into their worship icon.

False God

Therefore, if someone claims that a sacred image is a "False God," they are inherently assigning divine status to that image within their own mind. The person who truly believes the image is merely a representation is not worshipping a false god; rather, the person labeling it a false god is the one who, by definition, is mentally equating the image with divinity.
Jesus' statue is not a False God because it's just His representation.
