A concept. Means real in Dutch. Some dutch people made a party of it - a *real* party - at the University of Warwick. And it was legendary.
And since then, every party that you know is going to be good, is called an echt party.

-Yo, you going to that echt party tonight?
-Obviously!

Echte Leuvenaars

Term om de menig van een ander als irrelevant en minderwaardig te doen uitschijnen. Een vage bewoording om de meer behoudsgezinde Leuvenaar uit te drukken. Niemand weet hoe je een echte Leuvenaar wordt maar liefde voor de stad of er wonen is zeker niet voldoende.

Wij "echte Leuvenaars" hebben de stad zien kapotgaan onder de sossen / groenen / studenten...

A sentence used in Dutch by very few people. You say this when you really dislike someone and are on the edge of smacking them across the face.

"Ohooo jij, jij bent echt een vies goor kutjoch."
