Distastefullness is a word to describe several things, such as:

1.the act of being extremely distasteful

2.a great use of a large word for a class exercise in which we have to analyze paragraphs and describe them

3.the way to describe how octopus ink is viewed in the general public

The taste in your mouth when you have to do something that you really don't want to do (like go to jail, get a job, break up, etc.) or that you find particularly distasteful (cleaning the toilet, your mom's 'gina, etc.)
Upon realizing what an asshole I am, I was mortified and distasteless.

A catastrophic disaster, disater of grand proportions. dista- from the word distaster and astrophy from the word catastrophy.
Katrina, the Hurricane that destroyed New Orleans, was a distastrophy.
