cowboy cable

television channels that can be watched without paying for cable services. when you live out in the country and no advanced cable is offered u get cowboy cable. usually just the local news channels

person 1: "hey did you see that special on HBO last night?
persin 2: "dude you know i only have cowboy cable i had to watch freakin greys anatomy again"
