Colourbass

Colourbass, or Colorbass is a subgenre of Dubstep/Brostep that uses effects and unique sound design to make the basses very vibrant, tuneful, and ''colorful''. Effects like chorus, and a vocoder give the bass a very recognizable sound that you dont hear in other kinds of bass music very often. Its bright, lush, and very melodic. Colourbass shares some similarity with Future riddim/Melodic riddim. Although colourbass is very broad, so it also takes alot of elements from trap and Futurebass, while Future riddim keeps it closer to the roots of Riddim. Colourbass can be slightly heavy, with fat clap snares and spikey bass plucks, but it can also be light hearted, with nice bright chords and catchy drums.

Harvey Goldfinch, mostly known in the bass music community as Chime, is sometimes referred to as the godfather of the genre. He also created the label Rush Down, which is the main space for Colorbass today.

Examples:
Distayne - Halo
sxth sns - luminescent
Virtual Riot - REDLINE - color bass doggo VIP
Chime - Bloom
Ace aura - Tongues of Fire
I listen to Colourbass while i do my chores. It really helps me get in a good mood!

The grindset is a contemporary ideology of self-exploitation disguised as strength, deeply tied to the aesthetics of the β€œsigma male” and to new digital forms of patriarchy. It promotes the idea that human worth depends on productivity, economic success, absolute emotional control, and the ability to work endlessly, turning vulnerability, rest, community, and tenderness into signs of weakness. Beneath its rhetoric of discipline and power often lies a profound inability to relate healthily to pain, fragility, and human interdependence.
β€œThat’s the grindset, brother. While weak men sleep and complain, sigma males stay disciplined, work in silence, suppress emotions, and build power while everyone else wastes time chasing comfort.”

An Irish phrase meaning shit, derived from ass
(Not to be confused with the literal description of one's buttocks)
"Did you hear the song Aylek$ dropped?"
"Hardly. Her music is absolute cheeks."

"My boyfriend say LaFlame is cheeks."
"Tell your boyfriend I said it's his mixtape that's cheeks."

Breadhead

Someone who is addicted to obtaining money and building wealth. A money addict and fanatic. Breadheads often work more than one full-time job, and some even participate in illicit activities to "obtain the bread".
A breadhead is like a crackhead, but for money instead of crack.
