The use of the COVID pandemic as an excuse for extreme incompetence, laziness or both.

E.g. sorry mate can’t come round to fix your leaking toilet, Karen’s half sister sat next to someone with a cough on the way back from Torremolinos, so I’ve got to isolate for a month… (while siting in front of the football in pants, eating crisps)

The courier has failed to deliver my parcel three times now because the driver can’t be arsed to call me before they turn up. The call centre is blaming staff shortages because of the pandemic… they are so fucking Covincompetent!
