A portmanteau of "chatting" and "fatigue", referring to the draining feeling some feel when participating in livestream chat so they opted for VOD or Youtube instead. Can also be used for irl interaction. First coined in Jerma985's offline chat somewhere between 20-25th of May, 2022

This means observing etiquette in on line chat, via a chat room like facebook or wats app. It asks us to avoid ignoring messages especially that the other person knows you would have seen. To be aware of the use of emojis and to be polite to the person on the other end of the device, give a greeting before you start to converse if it's the first chat for the day .
I communicated with him on wats app and he lacked chatiquette owing to him not starting the conversation with a greeting.

In which the cat exhausts you by 1) taking over your side of the bed the night before or 2) meowing at the door and pawing the ground for no discernible reason.

Chatiquette describes guide lines for online chat communication, a variation of nettiquette.
Just as in any public space a little attention to chatiquette (chat etiquette) will make the experience more pleasant for everyone on IRC.
