To be suffering pain in the bum brought on through either too much of or non use of the bum.

God damn! This bum sprain is killing me. I need to stand up/sit down.

Bumspringa

a rite of passage during adolescence similar to the event practiced by Amish communities. For directionless youth, Bumspringa normally begins around the ages of 18–21 and ends when a youth chooses either to return to whatever lackluster town that they are from ( eg. Wichita, Fargo, Albuquerque)or to stay away from the community entirely, opting instead to move to Los Angeles, NYC, or Vegas; in hopes of living a glamorous life, making it big and becoming famous! Bumspringa occurs between ages of 18 and 35.

A real Bumspringa move, he left his family in Boise to go become a model in LA! We'll see how long that'll last.
