1. A fraudulent copy that is visually convincing at long range, but upon closer inspection is easily identifiable as a fake. 3. A rough approximation that is used as a temporary diversion.

A counterfeit which remains convincing for only a short time. A temporary solution or distraction.

"I was massively underqualified. At the interview I had to pull out borednaked's pablo."
"I'm not done my assignment, I could use borednaked's pablo right now."
