blaxploitation 

blaxploitation is the morphing of the words “black” and “exploitation”. It is a film genre from the 1970s that targeted the urban african-american audience. The actors used were mainly black and was the first style to use funk and soul music. Although initially popular it quickly disingrated as a film genre critizised for the use of stereotypes.

The films 'Do the Right Thing', 'Shaft' and 'Jackie Brown' are all examples of blaxploitation.

Blaxploitation 

Films made by black directors such as Tyler Perry and Spike Lee, designed to exploit the ignorance of black people. These films rely on a cast of predominately black actors and stereotypical shenanigans to draw in large crowds of black people.

Target Audience: "Ay, dawg. You going to see that new Madea movie?"

Everyone Else: "No. I don't support blaxploitation."

Target Audience: "Ay, dawg. You going to watch that new Spike Lee joint?"

Everyone Else: "You don't find it suspicious that all his films are referred to as joints? It's because niggas love joints. You're not offended by that?"

Target Audience: "Ay, dawg. How come Spike Lee don't fuck with Tyler Perry?"

Everyone Else: "Tyler's the new king at exploiting black people, of course Spike Lee doesn't like him."

Bayploitation 

Bayploitation: When Michael Bay directs a film adaptation or reboot of an already established Franchise. The essence of the Franchise is altered to become more economically viable and appealing to a larger target audience. The resulting film is usually a polar opposite from the source material.

Example: The New Care Bears film is suffering from Bayploitation, the entire film consists of the Care Bears creating multi million dollar explosions with their chest beams as revenge for the multi million dollar CGI destruction of Care-A-Lot.
