To test someone's character by putting them into a situation that will potentially make them seem like a bitch. This can be accomplished through a variety of means, including but not limited to insulting a potential bitch, threatening a potential bitch or even just asking a potential bitch to do a menial task for you. Regardless of what method you choose, the purpose of the bitch check is to gauge the potential bitch's reaction.

Keith: "Hey Larry! Go down to Starbucks and get me a coffee."
Larry: "Fuck off, Keith. Go bitch check someone else."

Sometimes, females get out of line in their dealings with you (cursing at you, cheatin on you, spendin your money, etc). When this happens you gotta check that bitch, which means either verbally or physically letting her know who the man is in the situation. Failure to check a bitch leads to a man becoming a simp who women don't respect. All macks know that checkin a bitch is a crucial part of the game.

Check a bitch 

What an immature male does shortly before losing is girlfriend or wife. Sometimes, boys get out of line in their dealings with you (cursing at you, cheatin on you, spendin your money, etc) and think they can control you. When this happens and you try to tell them about it they will sometimes check that bitch, which means either verbally or physically assaulting a woman they allegedly care about. This behavior can often lead to boys never becoming men, continuing to live at home with their mommas and remaining virgins forever.
