Someone who has such an elitist complex to the point that they feel the need to "verify" other people's "authenticity" and "whether or not you're a real fan" of something. So much so to the point that they ask dumb questions to try and satisfy their gigantic ego.

A: Is that a Nirvana shirt? Well m'lady, i just so happen to be a big fan of them. You wouldn't be able to name 3 songs from them now would you my fair maiden?

Someone who jumps from one relationship immediately into another one.

Serial monogamists can not stand to be alone and often suffer from vast commitment and insecurity issues.

Because they jump into relationships immediately after the previous one has ended, serial monogamists typically don't take the time to reflect on their behavior or why their previous relationships failed; thus, they end up making the same relationship mistakes over and over again.
