A Train

A New York City subway train (the Eighth Avenue Express) mentioned in Duke Ellington's signature song "Take the A Train" and famously performed by Ella Fitzgerald. The A Train passes through Harlem, stopping at 145th Street ("Sugar Hill"), a center of African American culture during the "Harlem Renaissance" between the world wars.

A New York City subway service known as the Eighth Avenue Express. Biggest issue is when heavy traffic persists at 59th Street Columbus Circle with the D Line. This train also has 2 south terminals and 3 on rush hours, so if you are going to Lefferts Boulevard make sure you aren't on a Far Rockway train.Sometimes the R46's destination signs don't work and announcements can barely be heard so it can be a 50/50 gamble.

"This is a Far Rockaway bound A Train, the next stop is 59th Street Columbus Circle"
