Vivercracy
Vivercracy (n) (Viv-er-crase-ee)
1. A system of lateral governance in which sovereign authority resides permanently with the citizenry, who may at any time exercise that authority directly to legislate or recall their representatives. Elected representatives serve as conditional administrators rather than rulers, holding no power independently of the citizens from whom it is drawn and to whom it always returns. Governance is conducted under constitutionally enforced transparency, ensuring the relationship between citizen and representative remains horizontal, accountable, and revocable.

Under a Vivercracy, the people hold the balance of power and act within their own interests rather than those of the oligarchy.
