A video and DVD-only show by the company Big Idea created for smaller children that teaches lessons such as Obedience and Thankfulness through stories from the Bible and also their own stories (still about God). All of the charcters are vegetables. There is one movie: Jonah: A VeggieTales Movie. Though the show is made for little kids, it is actually quite funny and the show and movie are great comedies.

Get the VeggieTales mug.An Absolute Masterpiece! A christian cartoon that has aged quite well over the years. The older episodes always kicked ass. Even the animation in the earlier episodes was hilarious at times(eg, Bob stretching into the camera and the animation errors.) This show is about a tomato named Bob and a SpongeBob-ish cucumber named Larry. The duo re-enact bible stories and do music videos and skits. This show was part of my childhood growing up. And I'm so glad to see it get turned into meme material.
