Tony Gubby

Well respected and notorious gangster and professional criminal more known during the sixties, seventies and eighties. Born and raised in Woolwich, South London, Gubby was a feared man known for his incredible strength and power. A tough man with "hands like shovels" who feared no one. Gubby famously was put into solitary confinement for bending a steel prison cell door in half after a "falling out" with prison guards at HMP Wormwood Scrubs. It took 14 guards to finally restrain him. Tony and John Gubby were feared brothers.
