Teenage Years

Like dog years, teenage years is just another annoying time difference.

If you are with a friend, then 3 hours is equal to 20 minutes.
However, if you are doing something with your parents, 10 minutes is equal to TOO LONG.
Jack" "Can we go now?"
Mom: "In 15 minutes."
Jack: "But that's like my whole life in teenage years."

teenage years

The phase where you're expected to behave like an adult but still paradoxically treated like a small child. This phase mainly happens in middle school or high school, but can nonetheless still occur when you can’t afford to move out of your parents' house right after graduating from high school.
During my teenage years, I had to juggle my parents' expectations of maturity with their constant reminders to clean my room—talk about a confusing time!
