Table Surfing

the act of loosing the cap of a salt shaker so that the next person who uses it creates an ocean of salt on there entree, thus ruining their meal

Guy 1: "Hey guy number 2 can you pass me the salt?"
Guy 2: "Sure..."
(salt spills all over the food)
Guy 1: "What the heck?"
Guy 2: "What I thought that we were table surfing?"
Guy 1: "No we weren't you idiot, I was trying to eat dinner."

The table surf is the act of looking for another table that is better than the one you are either sitting at or planning to sit at.

Me: Matt, don't table surf, just sit the fuck down.
Matt: Fine, whatever.
