Suu Syndrome

Suu Syndrome

A severe form of internet brainrot where someone constantly larps as rich, fashionable, or important to impress people online. The main symptoms are flexing money, comparing bank accounts, cars, clothes, and trying way too hard to look like they live a high-end lifestyle.

Someone with Suu Syndrome will turn any argument into a financial competition. You could call them annoying and they'll immediately respond with “band for band?” or start talking about their bank account.

They'll flex their car, designer clothes, shoes, watches, or anything else with a price tag, usually without anyone asking. They also tend to act like fashion experts, judging everyone else's outfits while desperately trying to prove their own clothes are more expensive.

Common symptoms:

Asking for bank account comparisons
Saying “band for band”
Constantly flexing cars
Larping as wealthy
Acting like a fashion expert
Flexing designer clothes nobody asked about
Calling everyone else broke
Turning every conversation into a status competition
Pretending to live a lifestyle they don't actually live
Person: “You were wrong.”

Suu Syndrome: “Okay but how much is in your bank account?”

Person: “Why are you asking me that?”

Suu Syndrome: “Because you're broke.”

Person: “You literally just changed the subject.”

Suu Syndrome: “Band for band.”

A lighthearted reaction upon receiving disappointing news of some sort. Usually something that isn't a particularly a big deal, esp. when it primarily affects someone else - sort of a mild schadenfreude. Sometimes doubled or tripled, and possibly said in a sing-songy voice for added comedic effect to imitate a muted trumpet, which is how the meme originated.

Surf Dracula Syndrome

A phenomenon in film/television series, most notably streaming series, where the main premise is drawn out to such a point that it takes an entire season or more to get the parts of the series the audience is actually interested in seeing.

For example, if a series is titled "Surf Dracula," a majority of viewers would tune in expecting to see Dracula surfing by the first or second episode. However, the entire first season would instead be tedious padding and backstory before finally ending with Dracula surfing in the last five minutes of the season finale.
I watched "Smallville" on Netflix the other day. Dude, it was ten seasons of filler before he finally flew! Major Surf Dracula Syndrome!
