A hotdog or burger bun made out of regular white bread slices. Typically when used when you forget to buy the specific buns.

Person 1: I forgot to buy the hotdog buns!!
Person 2: Guess we gotta break out the white bread and make some struggle buns.

Used to refer in a playful way to someone that has little to no buttock definition. The word comes from the struggle of trying to work out the glutes and still being unable to reach the desired fullness or definition.
