Those friends and relations who only bother to keep in touch through endless forwarded spam, email chain letters and other pointless inbox fillers.
Dude, you have fifty emails in your inbox - you must have a lot of friends.
No - I just have a big spamily.

A family becomes a spamily when an individual within the family chooses to communicate with other members of the family only when they are attempting to sell a product or service to family members.
Why won't anyone in my spamily buy from me?

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.
