Sottocopy

To plagiarize, lie about it, refuse accountability, and belittle the victim.

From the surname of Senator Sotto of the Philippines.

When Senator Sotto was asked by ABS-CBNNews anchor Karen Davila whether he had copied from the blog thehealthyeconomist.com in his August 13 speech, he had replied:

"I'm quoting Natasha Campbell McBride. Why should I quote a blogger?"

After a few days:

Senator Vicente "Tito" Sotto III's chief of staff admits that the senator's writers copied parts of his speech from an American blogger.
Hey, did you sottocopy the article again?

I believe he sottocopied his document from an old bill.
