Snow-verreacting 

To react or respond more strongly to snow in the forecast than is actually necessary, usually followed by a trip to the grocery store.

Person1: It's going to snow 1 inch tonight!
Person 2: holy shit! I better get to the grocery store to get bread and milk!
Person1: dude chill, stop snow-verreacting

snow-verreacting 

(V): to overreact or respond more strongly to the news of snow in the forecast than is actually necessary. This is usually followed by a trip to the grocery store to stock up on milk, bread and toilet paper.

From the looks of my Facebook newsfeed we're either having a massive snowstorm or people are seriously snow-verreacting.
