Scungilli Man

Scungilli Man is an evil figure, always lurking in the shadows. If you say his name nine times in a mirror, he will leave a plate of scungilli on your front step.
Ben: Hey, did you hear from the Scungilli Man last night?

Henry: Don’t ever mention the S-man again!

The Scungilli Man

Do not say his name.

The Scungilli Man is an evil humanoid entity who is bears the resemblance of a 7 foot tall human mixed with several forms of sea critters.

The Scungilli Man inhabits a pocket parallel dimension of his own creation known as "The Mouth of Madness".

If a person utters The Scungilli Man's name 9 times consecutively, they'll allow Scungilli Man complete control over their thoughts. Those people are labelled "The Scungilled" and forever servants they become to The Scungilli Man.

Those who are scugilled will then proceed to tell other about The Scungilli Man in ordee to give him more power.

The Scungilli Man seeks to gain entry to our dimension by becoming known to most people, which will grant him extreme power and will eventually allow him to assume control of a host organism.

In order to avoid being affected by the Scungilli Man, it's utterly important that a person who first learns of the Scungilli Man's existence should never utter his name. Those who have already said it once or more should do their utmost to avoid repeating it.

Alternatively, a person may refer to him by a proxy name or pseudonym without consequence.

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.
