The most beautiful girl you will ever meet. They are one of the most sexiest girls out there. They know how to party and have the best dance moves. They do not know how beautiful they are, and don't believe when people say it. She is shy at first, but once you get to know her she will lighten up your every single day. They make the best girlfriend ever. They are the type of girl that doesn't freak out over little things, unless they are positive. They are very understanding but are not afraid to stand up for themselves. They make the best friends and they know how to keep a long relationship. A beautiful (persian) girl with gorgeous eyes. Shes a loud, crazy girl, but knows when to keep calm and observe. She is kind at heart, but is usually misunderstood. She always wants to help others. A shirin is always supposed to be happy. If she is sad, then someone have really hurt her. Shirin usally have dark Brown eyes, she is skinny and have long dark hair. If you met a shirin you should take good care of her! Shirin is rare. She is usally funny and she is always a real friend if you are a real friend to her. she can have some attitude but only if she is mad. Shirin likes to have fun and a shirin is always the happy one! Boffin
British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”
Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
