Someone who presents as single, but there is an angle. They may be married, in a committed relationship, or otherwise unavailable to pursue an alternate relationship, but they are checking to see who is out there that they have more interest in than their current partner.

Single Sally 

Single Sally is a man trying to throw a party without any friends. He may frequent bars, nightclubs and gentlemen's clubs for companions to party with.

"Sorry buddy. We only book topless waitresses for parties, no single Sallies. Call us next time you have some friends over."

"That is why this place can no longer be rented for parties unless there are two men willing to be responsible.
